Richard had an amazing and irrepressible zest for life and for living it to the full. His boundless enthusiasm for anything fun and entertaining is legendary, his warmth and infectious sense of humour will live on with us all and be an excellent example for us to follow. Richard was a truly lovely man who made everyone feel special and welcome. Parties at Binfield, his ageing red convertible Mercedes, the house at Knolton...... The Cardales will really miss him.
